ESD Global & EL HaLev Mobilize Efforts Against Violence
Mark your calendars! The Second International Violence Prevention Education Conference (VPEC), will take place (COVID-19 willing) on the 10th and 11th of October 2021 in the beautiful city of Prague!
ESD Global is thrilled to co-host VPEC 2021 with El HaLev, a Jerusalem based NGO that works to prevent sexual, emotional and physical violence through innovative educational programs. The conference will be dedicated to discovering methods that give women, children, and other vulnerable populations the skills and tools they need to navigate the world from a safe and empowered place.
Yehudit (Yudit) Zicklin-Sidikman, Founder and President of ESD Global Inc., is excited about the collaboration between ESD Global Inc. and El HaLev to mobilize efforts across borders in an unrelentless pursuit to end gender-based violence. El HaLev has been a center for violence prevention education for 17 years, teaching women how to set boundaries and protect themselves in violent situations.
Last February, ESD Global Inc., partnered with El HaLev to explore initiatives designed to stop violence before it starts, hosting the first International Violence Prevention Education Conference at the El HaLev Violence Prevention Center – Jerusalem. The conference brought together participants from 24 countries and 7 U.S. states.
VPEC 2021 is an opportunity to create the cultural shift we so greatly need. Please join us in our effort to create and explore initiatives designed to interrupt and stop violence before it starts.
